Manufacturing Machine Operator / Machinist / Programmer - CAD/CAM

We are seeking a motivated individual with a Machinist - Operator or Programmer background to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for manufacturing and designing industrial foundry tooling and molds - training provided! Types include foundry patterns, molds, masters, cores, loose pieces, core prints, and models. Apply today!

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate 3-axis CNC vertical machining centers: Haas and Fadal.
• Design simple to complex molds and models, and understand parting lines.
• Understand shrink, draft, and machine allowances.
• Convert 2D drawings to 3D CAD models.
• Design and build fixtures, templates, scale models, and devices.
• Comprehend standard drawing views, notes, and tolerances.

Requirements:

• Experience in programming CAD/CAM software: Solidworks and Autodesk PowerMILL
• Familiar with manual machinery, drills, lathes, saws and mills, manual tools, and measuring devices.
• Fabricate using materials: Aluminum, steel, iron, plastic, tooling boards, wood.
• Manage multiple projects at one time
• Capable of following a project from concept design to finished product.
• Ability to work independently, with a team, and interact with customers to assist in the design and manufacturing process.
• Experience performing repairs, reworks, inspections, and finishing.
