We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Lead 2nd Shift! This position is responsible for overseeing all the Production requirements on 2nd Shift. Essential duties, as defined below, include providing guidance, direction and technical troubleshooting assistance to press operators on their assigned team.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Send out a shift summary report at the end of the shift.
• Attendance is critical for this role to have an effective shift change over with day shift.
• Ability to multitask and problem solve to limit downtime on equipment.
• The individual should be business knowledgeable, approachable and supportive.
• Liaison between floor and management. Ability to manage issues real time professionally and communicate back to management.
• The individual should be at the top of performance for the current position (i.e. press operator, rewinder, etc..)
• Ability to communicate in a timely fashion on shift performance and issues.
• Plan break times around the team to keep optimum equipment running.
• Train and develop others as and when required.
• Delegate assignments appropriately as needed.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Must have strong and accurate date entry skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
