The Role:
Our site in Burnet, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our team. We're looking for a technically/mechanically inclined, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment where safety, quality and continuous improvement are paramount. You will join a dynamic team of engineers whose focus is to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality while meeting or exceeding our customers' expectations.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for conducting and documenting Post-Service Exams and Failure Analysis on customer returned products. The ideal candidate will recognize the critical value of ensuring consistent execution of tasks while striving for continuous improvement. Join our team and make a difference!
What You'll Do:

• Be responsible for executing Post Service Exams (PSE) on returned products from customers as per customer requirements.
• Be responsible for conducting failure analysis (FA) on returned products from customers to identify root cause for failure.
• Collaborate with engineering, new product development teams to create detailed plan for conducting FA/PSE's and execute them.
• Actively assist engineering in leading and participating in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to diagnose existing failures and help document to communicate with internal stake holders. Assist in taking actions to prevent reoccurrence of failures.
• Coordinate with lab, production, and engineering teams to ensure maximum efficiency and smooth workflow.
• Communicate effectively with other team members to promote a safe, positive, and productive working environment.
• Take ownership of Failure Analysis area and keep it organized and clean per 5S principles.
• Learn to operate metrology equipment and assist engineering and facilities in troubleshooting.
• Identify opportunities for improvements, waste reduction and increased productivity.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineering with other tasks as needed.

What We Seek:

• Associates degree in a technical or mechanical field, or comparable work experience.
• Demonstrated experience (1-3+ years) of increasing responsibilities within a global organization serving the semiconductor industry.
• Experience handling hazardous chemicals strongly preferred.
• Semiconductor, manufacturing, or operations experience desirable.
• Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office applications (SAP and PLC experience is a plus);
• Familiarity with working in ISO 9000/14000 environments.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Dependability with flexibility to work over-time as needed to support business needs.
• Safety focus with ability to wear appropriate PPE as required.
