This is a Manager position within the F-35 Production Engineering (PE) organization responsible for a team of Control Account Managers (CAM’s), Manufacturing Engineers and Data Analysts. This team manages the earned value performance of the non-recurring projects within F-35 PE scope, data reporting for critical PE metrics and business case development for projects impacting F-35 production.

What You Will Be Doing


This position will lead their team by providing managerial oversight and accountability for the following efforts:
  • Manage a team of seven CAM’s through successful EVMS business rhythm and compliance (BLCR’s, VAR’s, OBS Manager Business Reviews, IMS Progress, etc.), engagement with PE build team leaders to ensure accurate detail planning of new work scope, and establishment of strong working relationships with Program Managers, Cost Integrators and OBS Managers
  • Manage a team of three data analysts through the development and maintenance of various data analytic tools and dashboards (Access, Tableau, web-based, etc.)
  • Manage a team of two Manufacturing Engineers through business case development and execution oversight for HPU, SRR and Safety improvement ideas that impact F-35 production

Basic Qualifications:


  • Project Management Experience
  • Previous experience leading teams &/or management experience

Desired Skills:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 5 years of Manufacturing Engineering, Operations or Project Management Experience
  • Experience working/leading within LM Aero Earned Value and Cost Accounting systems

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
