Responsibilities
- Assist with revising, defining and developing assembly process specifications and documents (IMFU, Manufacturing macro processes, Industrial data sheets)
- Revise/analyze/complete manufacturing Bill of Material
- Read and interpret engineering specifications (drawings, documents, BOM) to create work instructions
- Assist senior team member with addressing design issues/improvements
- Assist senior team member with trouble shooting manufacturing issues (including Root cause analysis) and define rework instructions as necessary
- Interface with various functions to drive daily and mid- term project requirements
- Monitor production processes for area of responsibility
- Review non-conforming material and justify use, rework, or rejection and produce corresponding documentation
- Assist senior team member with MRB (Material Review Board) activities
- Compile and interpret results of tests and inspection analysis. Prepare reports, charts, and graphs
- Assist senior team member in defining needs for improving manufacturing processes
- Provide Cost Estimates for Materials, Documentation, and/or Labor
