The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for the daily task of helping in areas around the plant. These tasks include feeding machines, stripping excess material from product, quality checking, gathering, packing finished goods, and any other tasks required by the plant manager.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Responsible for the following:
- Strip excess material from product
- Understand run standards and report obstacles to meeting standards.
- Monitor quality in color and image prior to packing.
- Recognize non-conforming product and advise operator/supervisor.
- Palletize per job ticket; verify and record accurate load count.
- Assist operators in performing manual and machine operator task in set-up, maintenance, and operations.
- Assist in cleaning up and keeping immediate work area neat and orderly.
- Complete all other activities as directed by Supervisor.
Position Requirements
· Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
· Motivated, collaborative, results-oriented, detailed, competitive and resourceful.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
