With products ranging from tire racks, battery stands, oil racks, and much more, Warren Steel Specialties products can be found in garages ranging from home workshops to automotive dealerships across the United States.

Our work schedule is typically 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with occasional overtime as required.

A typical day would include attending a startup meeting, receiving your job assignment, and completing different segments of the job until done for the day. You will assist in gathering supplies, tools, cleaning, assembling, and following directions. You will have the opportunity to learn all jobs and will have the opportunity to move between work centers regularly.

This job works in the manufacturing elements, so it’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The job can be dirty, greasy, sweaty, and smelly at times.

Responsibilities Include:

• Commitment to a safe work environment
• Required to receive, read, and understand specific instructions, basic drawings, work orders, and cut lists.
• Must have a mechanical understanding of the manufacturing process.
• Should be able to read and operate a tape measure and square.
• Required to keep work areas clean and clutter-free.
• Willingness to learn machine and equipment operation, safety, and preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge and use of common material handling equipment and their safe operation (forklifts, overhead cranes, and pallet jacks). Completion of Certified training program preferred.
• Knowledge and use of common power tools and their safe operation (standard shop tools, grinders, hand drills, impacts, wrenches).
• Must have the ability to stand for long periods with noisy machines in a fabrication shop environment, in temperatures, as well as humidity, that fluctuates by the season.
• Must wear proper personal protective equipment and comply with safety rules and policies.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, not limited to 50 lbs. as required.
• Will have strongly preferred 5 + years of manufacturing or mechanical experience.
• Reliable transportation and perfect attendance are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
