Blue Life Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as Shipping/Manufacturing Associate. The Shipping/Manufacturing Associate will be responsible for picking, packing, and shipping Blue Life products to customers. The successful applicant must be comfortable with ensuring the manufacturing and shipping of products is on schedule and is in accordance with quality standards.
The successful Shipping/Manufacturing Associate will be a self-motivated learner and team player. This position offers room for career growth and will be perfect for a candidate interested in pursuing a career in biotech or laboratory work.
This position is temp-to-hire and is based in the Blue Life Solutions Headquarters in Las Vegas, NV.

Compensation:
The estimated hourly range for this position is $16 - $17 per hour at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Shipping of Blue Life Solutions Products
- Preparation of orders for shipment according to invoices
- Pick and package orders
- Documentation of lot numbers and quantities of orders on invoice
- Coordinate with the Customer Service department and Manufacturing department to check inventory to verify availability of needed products
- Notify the Manufacturing and Production Manager of product shortages
- Package and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practices
- Coordinate with the Customer Service department to process replacement and back orders
- Monitor packaging material supplies and notify the Manufacturing and Production Manager when materials reach the restocking point
- Unload/receive material as required
- Perform housekeeping duties in areas assigned
2. Kit Assembly
- Pull products from inventory and assemble components into kits and kit sub-assemblies using quality system documents. (These tasks will be carried out under supervision until area supervisor determines that competency has been demonstrated.)
- Label components and kits accurately, under supervision
3. Dispensing of Chemicals and Buffers:
- Setup and operation of the semi-automated dispensing, capping and labeling equipment.
- Documentation of processes, lot numbers, and batch records.
- Assist in monitoring inventory of supplies needed for product assembly.
- Maintenance of equipment
Education and Work Experience:
- Knowledge in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Immunology, Virology, or Molecular Biology preferable.
- Preferably 1 year of manufacturing/assembly and shipping experience.
- Proficient using computers
- High school diploma is required.
- Associates or bachelor's degree Preferable.
