Position Description: (If you do not have all the skills you need for this position, Weller will train you. We just need you to have a “can do, ready to learn” mindset.)

• Install all major components in a manual truck transmission.
• Inspect Measure clutches, gears, cast iron and truck parts for the manual unit.
• Handling (lifting, carrying, etc.) parts, gears, cast, completed assemblies (counter shaft / main shaft) over 5 lbs.
• Examine / Inspect threads, pumps, gearing, paint jobs, and other sub-components, etc.
• Uses variety of tools ranging from hand tools to impacts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Must stand for 8+ hours per day.
• Frequent walking.
• Fine motor skills are required (finger / hand manipulation).
• May need to lift weight greater than 50 lbs. at times.
