Job Summary
The role of Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the activities associated with inbound and outbound warehouse operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, managing activities related to product receiving, product replenishment, order selection, order loading, expense and revenue management, ensuring abidance of government regulations, providing management and direction to warehouse staff and ensuring safety and security of the inbound and outbound warehouse departments.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must have the ability to occasionally lift 75 pounds from floor to chest; reach and use the arms with a full range of motion; endure prolonged standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and squatting while performing mechanical operations; exert push and pull forces with the arms in order to use various wrenches and tools; endure prolonged forward and overhead arm positions while performing mechanical operations; use hands to grasp hand tools and parts and climb onto and operate equipment.
Typical Environmental Conditions
Employee regularly works indoors around moving mechanical parts. May be exposed to weather extremes when working outside in conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity. Noise level may be loud at times. Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, dust, steam, high-pressure water, and high speed rotating equipment. Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment. Required to perform work in cramped spaces and/or high places.

Essential Functions
- Manages the daily work and safety of the warehouse, supervisors and other associates.
- Ensures the efficient management of labor hours and consumable supplies within budget and work schedules including extra work days and shifts as needed.
- Manages the proper selection, purchase and utilization of Company assets in support of warehouse operations.
- Develops business relationships to ensure communication and efficient operations with third party vendors.
- Reviews the management of shipping and loading audits ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed that material is handled and stored correctly with a minimum potential for loss.
- Suggests efficiency ideas, cost reduction measures and assists with the implementation of changes within inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
- Interprets trains and consistently enforces Company policies and procedures.
- Coordinates efforts with Safety to aid in training, conducting associate observations, and routine safety inspections.
- Performs management functions of staff selection, development, discipline, performance reviews and/or terminations.
- Complies with local, state and federal regulatory agencies.
Qualifications
- Prefer one-year parts/warehouse related experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have good organizational skills.
- Experience dealing with the public in a sales/service capacity.
- Computer skills preferred.
- Knowledge of company specific software.
