LPN Licensure or similar clinical licensure and work experience in an acute hospital setting is strongly desired in this position.

Job Summary and Qualifications

• You will oversee a team of virtual patient safety attendants who ensure high quality, patient-centered safety monitoring through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the department. This oversight includes, but will not be limited to, the safety monitoring of patients at-risk for suicide, falls, elopement, and/ or causing harm to self or others
• You will monitor and evaluate the provision of patient safety monitoring in accordance with established policies/ procedures and hold staff accountable for patient safety outcomes in support of facility objectives
  
• You will facilitate effective interdisciplinary care coordination within and across departments and facilities and ensure staff with appropriate clinical competencies are assigned to meet patient care needs
• You will provide leadership in attaining and sustaining an unparalleled patient experience and instill accountability for providing consistent, positive patient interactions that differentiate the organization as a healthcare leader
• This position reports to the Director of Behavioral Health

What qualifications you will need:

• LPN Licensure or similar clinical licensure and work experience in an acute hospital setting is strongly desired in this position.

• 2+ years of experience in an acute care setting preferred
  
• 1+ years of experience at an HCA facility preferred
  
• Current Clinical License preferred
  
• Bachelor degree in health-related preferred
  
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire
  
• De-Escalation Training required within 90 days of hire
