Manager Telecom Quality Control

The Manager of Quality is responsible for the administration of corporate driven quality programs supporting customer and industry construction standards.  The position will ensure that quality workmanship and service is a Parkside core competency and business approach which creates a competitive advantage.

• Develop, administer, and oversee Parkside’s Quality Control Plan for telecommunications construction projects, ensuring that all employees are following corporate lead quality standards.
• Review customer OSP construction procedures to guarantee all deliverables are met per customer requirements.
• Develop a balanced scorecard of metrics to drive continuous improvement of telecommunications construction practices across the company.
• Implement effective and timely preventive and corrective action plans to ensure the recurrence of quality problems is eliminated.
• Maintain and update telecommunications construction procedures documentation and communicate changes to subsidiary construction and quality leaders as needed.
• Support and participate in all internal quality and customer requested field audits.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5 years of related work experience
• Strong knowledge of equipment and practices related to the telecom industry
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, quality inspectors, project managers and subcontractors.
• Ability to monitor and inspect work conducted by Parkside and its subcontractors.
• General technical knowledge of Fiber to the home (FTTH) architectures.
• Proven to be self-motivated, resourceful, organized, and able to be involved in multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience independently overseeing, creating, and/or managing projects.
• Experience in interfacing and training an audience at varying levels.
• Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to travel
