Salary- Education: Knowledge of Supply Chain management including, inventory, distribution, logistics normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree and/or with (5) ten years of progressive relevant experience.
- License/Certifications: N/A
- Experience: Significant and complex management experience in Supply Chain.
- Interpersonal communication skills associated with managing a complex organization, as well as skills to effectively influence, negotiate, resolve problems and make strategic and tactical decisions with senior managers, nursing and department directors, physicians and vendors.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills necessary to evaluate and execute strategic initiatives recommend changes and implement business processes.
Position Summary
The Manager, Supply Chain-Procedural Specialties is responsible for the daily leadership and accomplishment of all activities regarding inventory management and the supply replenishment of supplies in procedural specialty areas (e.g. operating rooms, cath/EP labs, and endoscopy). This leader partners with enterprise stakeholders to implement organizational best practices in collaboration with our end-users around inventory management, process standardization, and cost reduction. Uses LEAN and Six Sigma for continuous process improvement. Ensures inventories are labeled, secure, properly identified and accessible to authorized personnel. Works with the VP of Supply Chain on enterprise projects focused on product and process standardization efforts.
