Position Description
The Manager, Scholarships and Caddie Academy is responsible for assisting the Evans Scholarship application and interview process. Additionally, this role provides individual and group guidance services relative to the scholastic, educational, personal, and social nature of dormitory students part of the Caddie Academy.
Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000
Job Responsibilities
Evans Scholarship Application Process
1. Assist applicants, parents, club officials, high school administrators, and WGA Directors with the application process.
2. Assist with the review and evaluation process and provide necessary information.
3. Plan, organize, and perform necessary tasks associated with Selection Meetings with host sites outside of the Chicago area.
4. Provide information for finalists and parents before, during, and after the interview process.
5. Assist in assigning universities to newly awarded Evans Scholars.
WGA Caddie Academy
1. Partner with high schools and youth organizations to identify potential applicants.
2. Manage the application process from identifying potential applicants through the review/selection process.
3. Prepare budget and determine allocation of funds for all components of Caddie Academy including staff, supplies and equipment, facilities, etc.
4. Organize the necessary components of the program including but not limited to transportation, housing, food, and programming.
5. Oversee the staffing of the Caddie Academy Interns including hiring, training and evaluation.
6. Oversee the implementation and execution of the day-to-day operation of the program.
7. Address special needs of the program and participants at they arise.

Willingness to work at the Glenview office in person.
A valid driver's license with the ability and willingness to travel.
o Travel expected to be 25% of working days.
Ability to occasionally work nights and weekends.
Ability to deal with all types of people and attitudes and remain positive/supportive.
Ability to translate a warm and friendly demeanor via phone and email.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with events, customer service, and vendors. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, Excel and Word. Willingness to learn WizeHire - Zengine.
