The salary range for this position is $103,000 - $125,00 per year based on location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Sales & Education Manager is responsible for all aspects of driving retail sales, managing a team of Field Executives, achieving educational KPIs and supporting key brand education strategies for all brands within the KENDO portfolio throughout the Central US Region. The Regional Manager will work to develop and grow the KENDO business through the management, coaching and development of the Sales & Education Executives and Freelancers within their regional territory, ensuring that their team is continually educated and skilled on all core collections, new product launches, store promotions and event initiatives. This position will leverage market knowledge and build strong relationships with Sephora and Ulta Field and Store Leadership to maintain excellent client service with key retail partners.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Driving Sales:
- Responsible for driving sales in regional territory, building relationships with Sephora and Ulta store and field leadership, optimizing in-store merchandising and brand presentation, inventory focus and ensuring ‘best in class’ execution of Sales & Education Executives’ brand training and team-selling with Sephora and Ulta store cast.
- Drive and exceed territory sales goals by leading by example and role modeling selling behaviors, techniques, and training in-store, through coaching and development of executives. Execute high-touch trainings in top doors within regional territory as needed.
- Through partnership with Sr. Field Leadership, implement district-specific cluster trainings and store-level events to maximize brand and product exposure in-stores
- Oversee in store business reviews, elevate inventory issues and oversee visual merchandising standards through market tours and SEE feedback.
- Continually analyze business needs in market and make sure territory alignment and scheduling are strategic and maximized.
- Oversee Freelance team in territory and make sure scheduling is supporting high volume/ high penetrating doors.
- Organization and resourcefulness with planning and prioritizing goals.
Education and Training:
- Hire, onboard, offboard and develop Field Executives and freelancers to train and drive sales to support KENDO brand portfolio and products.
- Strategize and partner with execution of in-store trainings and special events to support brand marketing calendar, drive sales and track retail sales against goal.
- Fully understand the retailer and KENDO launch and activation calendar to efficiently drive business, e.g. store events, Sephora Animations, Hot Now, Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty, seminars, trainings, and education events.
- Provide excellent and courteous customer service to all partners in and out of KENDO.
Managing Relationships:
Kendo Field Team and Internal KENDO Partners
- Consistently shares best practices with KENDO Field Leadership to ensure business practices and showcasing portfolio brand integrity
- Identify field team needs and global issues to KENDO Education team to develop creative solutions while sharing Field and Store Sephora + Ulta voice
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with all levels of Sephora and Ulta Field & Store Leadership – RVPs, District Managers, District Education Managers, Store Directors, Store General Managers and store leadership.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with Field Leadership Teams and Brand partners to ensure ‘best in class’ skill sets for Field
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with Brand team to execute on Marketing activations and key launch events, maintaining professional, resilient and constructive behavior

Team Development
- Coach and develop the Field Executives direct reports to generate sales through training and sales support in-store
- Maximize team selling effectiveness through consistent in-market visits, leading by example, and consistent coaching, recognition, and feedback
- Partner with KENDO Education to ensure each Field Executives has a training development plan in place
- Ensure that team has an intermediate knowledge of artistry and skincare education
- Collaborate with Regional peers to develop best practices and drive team performance
- Ensure team is utilizing and completing all training digital platforms
Additional Responsibilities:
- Communicates effectively provides overall insights on market trends and feedback in a timely manner.
- Hits deadlines by managing time appropriately.
- Presents and reinforce a professional appearance and maintain the Company's appearance and dress code standards at all times, frequently changing makeup styles to reflect current trends and key focuses
- Work within Company expense budgets, following established guidelines and procedures
- Additional duties may be required, depending on skill set, market trends, and business needs
- Manage allocated T&E budget
- Ability to travel 50-60% of the time
- In market 60-80% of time 3 days in store and 2 office days per week
- 2x per month remote market visits
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree; 5+ years’ experience managing Prestige Beauty Sales or Brand Trainer, Sephora required Ulta preferred.
- Experience with, and full understanding of, the Sephora and Ulta concept is preferred
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook
- Exceptional communication skills (presentation/verbal/written)
- Self-motivated, results oriented, creative thinker
- Proven Leader with flexibility and ability to function in a fast-paced environment
- Must have proof of insurance, current and valid driver’s license, and reliable means of transportation
