Expected pay for this position is $41.80 - $55.38/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager Medical Imaging provides direction, coordination and supervision to the overall activities of Imaging Services. Participates with the department’s Director and Physician Chairman in planning, organizing and controlling departmental activities, and maintaining an ongoing assessment and improvement program. This may include the areas of diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, Computerized Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Ultrasound, Mammography, Non-Invasive Cardiology and radiology support.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- Graduate of an approved program in the Imaging field, Allied Health, or Registered Nurse
- Bachelor's Degree in Radiology, Nursing, Allied Health, Administration or related major
- CPR-Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation
- (For Imaging Candidates) ARRT or NMTCB or ARDMS
- (For Imaging Candidates) IEMA License Required for ARRT or NMTCB
- (For RN Candidates) Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in Illinois
- (For RT Candidates) NBRC credentialed CRT
Experience: 5 years' experience in clinical discipline
Other skills/knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prior experience in an imaging modality 3 years' experience in a lead or higher level of leadership
