The Service Area Manager Quality RN, reporting to the Service Area Director Quality, leads the activities in the Service Area for Providence Central Division supporting operational excellence, continuous quality improvement, and defined strategies for safe and reliable patient care consistent with our mission and core values.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • 5 years of experience in a Quality RN or nursing leadership role, with minimum 2 years in an acute care setting.
  • 3 years of experience in progressive leadership and management roles.
  • 5 years of experience in quality management principles, tools and techniques, such as: six sigma, Root cause analysis, PDSA, and Lean.
  • 5 years of Demonstrated experience and ability to work well with physicians.
  • 5 years of Demonstrated successful project management and Quality Improvement program development.
  • 5 years of Demonstrated experience in program planning, development and evaluation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Business, Business or Healthcare Administration, or enrolled in a Masters level program.
  • Upon hire: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
