This position manages the network finite manufacture planning teams. Responsibilities include leading the optimization of sequencing in the finite capacity of internal plant resources through creation of process, maintaining process accountability, and insuring the PPDS master data is maintained. This role will be essential in collecting data to drive improvement and communicating opportunities to the run strategy back to the capacity planners. This role provides key training and continuous improvement for the network finite schedule team. It is also a critical executional role in driving the supply chain Demand Driven Supply Network strategy. The position will provide expertise for the production and inventory plans generated through the weekly processes. Key roles include the optimization of the systems parameters and the ability to integrate across the tools to improve business performance. This position requires significant experience in the intricacies of the SAP APO module, data inputs, as well as an in-depth knowledge of the CSC business processes. This role will serve as the short-term communication channel between capacity planners and the operation teams. This role actively defines and supports initiatives to drive continual improvement in business practices and parameter settings to gain business improvements for the product categories.
This position can be located in the following locations: Rochelle, IL, Plover or Markesan, WI.
The salary range for this position is: $81,733 - $138,935
Position Function and Scope:
1. Finite Sequencing and Plant Production Scheduling (50%)
- Drives optimized sequencing of the finite schedule through continuous improvement of, as well as by ensuring the process to maintain master data within PPDS or a similar process.
- Develops standard processes to manage blocked stock communication from the local quality departments to the production plan through the PBLK process.
- Leads the ongoing network finite schedule process improvement initiative.
- Manages the training of plant finite schedulers and broader planning organization of updated and standard processes as related to finite scheduling.
- Provides a backup for the schedulers.
- Facilitates joint discussions between the capacity planners and plant operations to develop the optimum run strategy.
- Works with the plant operation teams to address short term production exception needs
- Other duties as assigned.
2. Strategic Planning (30%)
- Works with the supply planner and plant operations to develop the optimum run strategy.
- Drives Demand Driven Supply Network strategy by driving plan compliance and insuring optimum sequencing within the weekly production schedule.
- Insures all PM and holiday downtimes to the capacity planners through the downtime input process.
3. Plant Production Planning Liaison Lead (20%)
- Has direct communication line to plant operation leads providing updated information and receiving feedback for continuous improvement.
- Provides information to plant operations, IE, and Finance as needed.
- Communicates plant level AOP outputs such as overtime days and changeover frequency.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- 5+ years of continuous career progression in the Supply Chain management.
- High level of expertise in SAP planning and scheduling tools including APO and PPDS preferred.
- Ability to interpret and adjust to situations that involve conflicting goals.
