Job description

GradSelect is the world's largest database of qualified graduate business school prospective candidates. As part of the GMAC Connect portfolio, the GradSelect product team is responsible for contributing to diversified revenue growth by communicating product value to all GradSelect constituents, driving product demand and adoption, and ensuring a strong qualified pipeline through strategic candidate engagement. The Manager, Product Management, Growth supports the GradSelect business by developing and executing growth strategies and campaigns to generate awareness, B2B and B2C leads, and sales of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a clear view of our acquisition funnel and build a data-driven feedback loop to optimize new and existing customer journeys from first touch to acquisition.
  • Identify key metrics for growth opportunities through analysis of market trends, user behavior, and competitive landscape.
  • Propose, lead, and analyze experiments to acquire and retain GradSelect customers.
  • Work closely with the GradSelect product team, Market Development, and other product marketing leads across GMAC to execute on growth opportunities.
  • Regularly review and report on KPIs, including conversion rates, user engagement, and retention metrics, to ensure alignment with growth objectives.
  • Act as a central point of contact for internal stakeholders, notably Market Development, Marketing, and Product regarding GradSelect positioning, collateral, and campaigns.
  • Develop and execute marketing and communications plans for both B2B and B2C audiences that convert prospects into customers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external creative agencies to develop creative and content for use in various marketing channels, including articles, videos, testimonials, etc.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all candidate and school touch points related to specific product.
  • Gather ongoing market intelligence through research and other efforts on a global scale in collaboration with Market Development.
  • Continually interact with the marketplace through customer interviews, conference attendance, and other one-on-one interactions.
  • Provide direction and support for regional offices and their digital marketing agencies, in developing and implementing annual marketing plans in support of GradSelect goals and objectives.
  • Other responsibilities and duties, as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and/or certification; Or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
  • 4 years' experience in Product Management, product marketing, or growth field.
  • Strong digital marketing experience, including working with marketing automation tools, A/B testing and optimization, website management, social media, and Google Analytics/GA4.
  • Experience managing Product Marketing for a specific product line in a global marketplace.
  • Experience with market research projects.
  • Experience working on integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Experience on a metrics-driven marketing team focused on lead generation and conversions in order to meet business KPIs.
  • Strong project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple projects or stakeholders in a complex environment.
  • Exceptional organizational, project planning, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for internal and external audiences; Strong attention to detail, with a keen focus on quality.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team setting, and across external and internal stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to manage daily operations of the function and prioritize work without direction.
  • Comfort with multi-tasking.
  • Intellectual curiosity, analytical, and growth marketing mindset.
  • Ability to travel globally up to 5% of the time.
  • Ability to work in-office and remotely according to GMAC's hybrid work environment.

Desired Skills/Experience:
  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Canva.
  • Experience using Hubspot.
  • Familiarity with higher education industry.
  • Master's degree in relevant field.
