Position Profile:Brief Description:
The Manager, Patient Access & Services – Nursing and Allied Health will be reporting to the Director, Patient Access & Services – Nursing and Allied Health and is responsible for supporting a team of call center and field-based vendor nurses. The JazzCares Nursing Program provides education and support for patients and HCPs (Healthcare Providers) resulting in high knowledge, confidence, and satisfaction for therapies and support services. The candidate will be responsible for fostering and maintaining Jazz values for a patient inspired and people valued culture, with a vendor partner team.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Support training of a high performing Nursing Vendor Team that directly works with patients and providers
- Support the development and monitoring execution of comprehensive, compliant tactics for this team that optimizes cross-functional business goals and strategies
- Manage the ongoing and project management work for Jazz with the associated vendor partner and ensure quality vendor personnel performance for Jazz work
- Evaluate the vendors KPIs, Quarterly Performance, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), Audits, and supporting work for the Director
- Proven record of accomplishment impacting customer experience and knowledge of the patient journey
- Monitor vendor compliance with trainings required by Jazz Pharmaceuticals and proper documentation
- Evaluate and prioritize key objectives of the JazzCares Nursing Program and report out to the Director
- Identify and support implementation of program/workflow enhancements that improve the overall customer experience and patient satisfaction for therapies
- Champion and manage the implementation and processes associated with the JazzCares Nursing Program to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate effectively with external business partners, including Patient Services/Hub Vendors, and Consultants, as well as internal departments such as Marketing, Sales, Analytics, Training, Compliance, Medical, Regulatory, and Legal
- Input and manage budget associated with the JazzCares Nursing Program and activities
- Support other ancillary Patient Support Services as needed
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Minimum of 2 years of combined pharmaceutical experience, or equivalent from a similar industry vendor, with a specific time spent supporting nursing programs and call center support services
- Nursing, Allied Health, and Call Center experience with field-based team involvement preferred
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of patient services, field nursing, patient support programs, business rules, contracting, HUB, and specialty pharmacies
- Excellent written and verbal communicator with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Advocate strongly for the JazzCares Nursing Program, communicating the mission, objectives, and results
- Ability to manage expenses and budgets
- Serve as technical expert on nursing & Allied Health patient services programs, as well as a resource of information for internal (national accounts, marketing, sales, R&D, medical affairs) and external customers.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and business acumen skills and ability to work independently
- Position requires 30% travel to vendor locations, conferences, internal meetings, etc.

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $116,000-$152,250. The exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
