The Manager, Order Management will be responsible for driving projects to support and improve Homedepot.com's order fulfillment process. The manager will be responsible for working with many cross-functional business areas to define priorities, determine project benefits, set scope and define requirements. The manager will be responsible for ensuring the final solution meets the business need and achieves the estimated business benefit. The position will also be responsible for supporting foundational improvements to Homedepot.com's order management system and being the point of contact on all .com related efforts that would require OMS system or business process changes. The candidate must also have proven data analytics capabilities. Able to take a request, summarize response, and produce an executive level answer.
The position will also include managing a team of business analysts. The Manager will be responsible for supporting the team, growing these associates, performance management, and setting clear expectations. Finally, the Manager, Order Management should be passionate about the customer and the E-commerce industry and must have the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- 60% Develop business requirements and new business processes to improve customer satisfaction while reducing expense
- 20% Team management and project management
- 10% Support the development of the Order Management roadmap
- 10% Apply a thorough understanding of the E-commerce industry, its seasonality and global business trends/events. Continually monitor competitor/industry evolutions
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- Position reports to Sr. Director, Order Management
- Number of direct reports is 1-4.
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
