Your Role:
The Operations Manager’s main objective is to ensure a high-quality maintenance service experience for the resident and for the homeowner. You will control maintenance & repair expenses by providing oversight, coaching, and support to the Team Leads and Operations staff and come up with new ways to improve the process and technology. Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are tracked to determine progress on this objective.
What will you be doing?
- Provide oversight and daily review of team performance, including but not limited to speed of execution, team decision quality, escalation and risk management, and customer service.
- Conduct routine shadowing sessions to ensure company standards are upheld.
- Relay company directives to the Operations Team, provide mentoring on new processes.
- Organize and host weekly team meetings, project planning, workshops, and job aid documents.
- Coordinate and provide coverage as needed for team members.
- Assist in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new operations staff.
- Work closely with the Vendor Management Team in expanding the regional vendor list and the Resident Services Team for ensuring a positive holistic resident experience.
- Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.
- Attend scheduled mentoring and coaching sessions and training classes as assigned and regular meetings on policy, process, procedures, KPI monitoring, and budget tracking with Upper Management.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned as well as finding continuous improvement opportunities for the team to improve upon. You are a self-starter: see something broken? You take the necessary steps to resolve the issue.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Ability to quickly learn and teach new software.
- Process oriented and data driven.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize projects and tasks, manage time and work independently.
- Strong intrapersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Possess strong negotiating, customer service, organizational, and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Home Partners policies on repairs, budgets, and authorizations.
- Knowledge of home systems, their renovation, and their repair & maintenance.
- Localized specialization of state laws pertaining to notices, SDA requirements, and regional standard home features and repairs; knowledge and compliance with Fair Housing.
