ROLE SUMMARY:
The Omnichannel Marketing Manager for the C-Store Channel is a pivotal member of the HSY Sales team responsible for the development and implementation of loyalty, digital and in-store Shopper Marketing programs to grow sales, profits, and market share for Hershey and our C-store customers.
- Lead development and execution of Omnichannel Marketing programs. Includes managing digital media, Retailer Media, merchandising, creative briefs, and other custom content.
- Provide thought leadership to C-Store sales team on activation, loyalty programs, and digital fundamentals working closely with CSEs to bring best practices to their retailers.
- Collaborate with Hershey’s CSE’s and/or customers to identify and execute with excellence Shopper Marketing programs that tie to innovation launches, or key tentpole events (such as March Madness/Fall Football) that leverage Shopper insights to increase conversion, build baskets and enhances experience
- Manage point of sales materials creation for retail team to utilize in C-Store working closely with sales planning to identify opportunities to drive incremental demand on key AMP programs and shippers
- Assist in the testing, management and measurement of retail media campaigns to determine effectiveness
- Manage the annual merchandising plan with Merch COE, brief creative agency, route and influence final merchandising with customer, assist in managing top and bottom-line impact to Hershey
- Develop and manage integrated program timelines as well as shared files for tracking projects and programs
- Translate data insights into demand generation. Collaborate with sales, category strategy and insights teams to make fact-based recommendations for merchandising, marketing, and promotional opportunities.
- Meet with customers regularly in collaboration with CSE’s to formulate and execute annual plans
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Experience: 5 years sales and/or marketing experience required, some customer facing experience a plus
- Knowledge of retail sales and application of brand strategies
- Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment. Strong problem solving and project management skills, proven ability to work on multiple assignments at once.
- Proficiency: MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint. Clear communication and presentation skills.
- Travel 20% of time
