Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Procurement Operations to join our team. This strategic leadership role will be responsible for optimizing our Procurement Operations, implementing digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring the efficient sourcing of materials to support our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of Procurement Operations, including supplier management, contract negotiations, and cost optimization.
- Lead and manage Procurement Operations to ensure effective procurement strategies and practices.
- Develop and implement a digital transformation roadmap for procurement, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and visibility.
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with departments such as production, logistics, and finance to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate agreements, and manage supplier relationships to ensure a reliable supply chain.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks to make informed decisions and adjustments to procurement strategies.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of Procurement Operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in procurement practices.
- Contribute to sustainability and environmental initiatives within the procurement process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of digital transformation principles and experience implementing technology solutions in procurement.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and metrics to drive decisionmaking.
- Knowledge of Procurement software and tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with the manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or similar certification is a plus.
