Job Description
SUMMARY:
Company administrator of the aircraft Fueling Program, the Fuel Services Manager leads and manages the companies’ Fuel Services operation.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the quality control, administration and oversight of the Company Fueling Program and ensuring compliance with applicable Company policies and industry and government regulations.
- Must be highly knowledgeable of the entire Part 135 Fueling Manual, and all Federal Aviation Regulations pertaining to the Company Fueling Program and operations.
- Responsible for the conduct and oversight of the Aircraft Fueling Training Program.
- Coach, mentor, and instruct all company-wide Fuel Safety Supervisors.
- Plan, schedule, and conduct internal and external audits – Fuel farm and Into-Plane.
- Maintain records of all audits in accordance with Fuel Manual.
- Responsible for review, evaluation and acceptance of vendor/contractor Fueling Programs for use by Cape Air.
- Responsible for ensuring required Fueling vendor/contractor biennial audits are completed, submitted and reviewed for compliance.
- Responsible for maintaining file on all vendor/contractor self-audits.
- Ensures fuel spill notification and reporting requirements are followed.
- Maintain and oversee all company Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans.
- Attend fuel industry seminars and training annually.
- Additional duties as assigned.
