We are currently looking to fill the position of Manager of Events and Tradeshows with a starting range of $78,000.00-130,000.00/year, dependent upon experience, education, and skills. This position may have the opportunity for occasional work from home.
The Events and Tradeshows Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of all events, including in person and online tradeshows, conferences, and social gathering, for Paragon 28’s employees, sales reps, and customers. This role is responsible for managing these events within budget and regular reporting of results. Additionally, this role is responsible for maintaining the Leads Generator/CRM.
Key Responsibilities
- Serves as point of contact for all Events and Tradeshows that Paragon 28 executes, both in-person and online
- Provides active assistance during all Events and Tradeshows to ensure they meet the standards and traditions of Paragon 28, including large scale tradeshow booth management.
- Develops and reports on key metrics for each event.
- Maintains a high degree of professionalism and hospitality for all Paragon 28 events both on, and off-site.
- Manages budget for each event from request for proposal to post event reporting.
- Negotiates the best possible value for all Paragon 28 event and tradeshow spend and analyzes ways to maximize fiscal responsibility.
- Evaluates and suggests new technologies that will make Events and Tradeshows more interactive, impactful, and efficient.
- Interacts with and builds working relationships with surgeon consultants and customers.
- Aids international event and tradeshow team as needed.
- Updates Lead Generator following every event and tradeshow with new data.
- Works with Accounts Payable to ensure all financial responsibilities are met.
- Reports all appropriate expenses monthly to Compliance via the CMS report.
- Guarantees all compliance guidelines and policies are followed while planning and executing each event.
- Travels to or attends online all Medical Education events; consults with Director of Medical Education to determine requirements for attendance.
- Ensures proper CMS reporting is accurate and complete monthly.
- Works regularly with finance partner to maintain clean data entry and processing.
- Recruits and maintains a strong pipeline of talent.
- Other duties as assigned.
Travel
Approximately 30-50% of overnight travel, based on event schedule.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years’ experience in event and tradeshow management, medical device experience preferred
- Availability to work on all days that Events and Tradeshows take place, including evenings and weekends
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Proven project management skills, especially meeting changing deadlines
- Proven ability to manage onsite and online staff
- Ability to operate independently and as a team member
- Established proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Smartsheet a plus.
