Qualifications:
Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or Business Management preferred, or related experience.
  • Minimum 4+ years recruiting position hiring / on-boarding high volume and hiring all levels
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be familiar with current employment laws
  • Advertising / job fair experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ability to create formulas, etc).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite
  • 3+ years’ experience with HRIS and ATS systems (preferred ADP, can be Peoplesoft or Ceridian).
  • Position is considered Exempt
  • Position is considered hybrid under our Hybrid/Flex model

The expected range for the base salary for this position is
$62,000 to $77,000. This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.

Responsibilities:
The Role

Achieve staffing objectives for year round part-time and US Open seasonal staff by managing the recruitment process and evaluating job candidates; advising managers; Manage all HR processes and leveraging our ATS to ensure the most efficient quality sourcing

  • Manage all US Open seasonal recruitment efforts for Facility Operations and Facility events staff. Establish annual plan for achieving desired results through job fairs, social media, job sites and leveraging ICIMS system.
  • Work with the Director, NTC HR and Administration to manage all year round part-time recruitment efforts for the National Tennis Center. Maintain open communication with hiring manager to provide status updates as well as feedback concerning referrals or potential candidates.
  • Assist Director, NTC HR and Administration with employee relations issues for the Facility Operations/Events staff.
  • Establish and maintain seasonal employee files and related confidential personnel records.
  • Update and maintain all seasonal recruitment and hiring materials as well as application packets and new employee orientation packets.
  • Prepare and maintain US Open hiring plans for your areas of responsibility. Track performance on a weekly basis and update Manager, NTC Admin/Recruitment and Director of Finance and Admin with any issues real-time.
  • Plan and leverage expanded use of the ICIMS system. Learn new functional and analyze ways to increase our use to improve the candidate experience, process efficiencies, improved internal controls and/or cost savings. Oversee processing of data related to seasonal employees (i.e. data entry to ADP / icims) and verification of I-9 documentation, and new employee background checks.
  • Communicate and enforce personnel policies to seasonal staff regarding employee guidelines, NTC policies and payroll procedures.
  • Manage seasonal recruitment team to ensure that the team meets it’s hiring objectives for the US Open.
  • Create and maintain non-US Open staff database in ICIMS/ADP. This database includes:
    • Employees available to work non-US Open events (future).
    • Historical data on events worked, positions held, hours worked, rates of pay, performance evaluations, etc.
  • Work with NTC department directors and hiring managers to update seasonal and US Open job descriptions annually.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of our US Open team training in August.
  • Coordinate all planning efforts regarding US Open seasonal staff uniforms and the distribution from the beginning of August through the completion of the event
  • Other duties as assigned.
