We are looking for a strong creative, forward-thinking candidate with exceptional strategic and execution skills to continue the growth of our L&D Organization. As an L&D Creation Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a dedicated group of individuals who are experts in creating the best in class learning experiences for our commercial organization. The day-to-day responsibilities will require a combination of technical skills, creativity, collaboration, people leadership, stakeholder management and a commitment to creating effective and engaging learning experiences in a variety of modalities. 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

·       Developing and delivering high-quality final materials and learner-centric learning solutions, while also coaching and mentoring a team of developers. 

·       Providing coaching, guidance, and management for team of learning creators to grow capabilities

·       Building a high performing team culture that delivers exceptional value to our stakeholder

·       Collaborating with Learning Architects and other key stakeholders (SMEs, Program Owners, Business Partners) as needed to understand learning solution architecture, objectives, approval process and timeline, and other deployment requirements to translate them into delightful learning solutions

·       Supporting the Learning & Development approval process by responding to and/or incorporating feedback from Medical, Legal, and Regulatory teams and performing other tasks related to the creation of compliant learning materials. 

·       Applying JJIM content development and learning standards and end-to-end processes to create learning materials in a timely manner.  

·       Staying up-to-date on the latest learning design and development trends and technologies to apply innovative and modern development tools / techniques to develop learning solutions / materials 

·       Oversee JJIM Learning Creation capabilities to transform and reimagine approaches that JJIM uses to develop training content to support pan-JJIM capability development in order to drive efficiency, effectiveness and competitiveness of the commercial organization 

·       Guide stakeholders on best practices and industry leading standards on performance consulting services and strategic management of learning experience programs across the JJIM Portfolio for consistent quality outcomes 

·       Leverage future learning content management platforms to transform and reimagine approaches that JJIM uses to develop training content to support pan-JJIM capability development in order to drive efficiency, effectiveness and competitiveness of the commercial organization 

·       Guide stakeholders on best practices and industry leading standards on performance consulting services and strategic management of learning experience programs across the JJIM Portfolio for consistent quality outcomes 

·       Identify and recommend synergies across all learning pillars to maximize resources, learning experience and customer value.  

•        Attracts and develops elite and diverse talent that is committed to individual and collective growth, challenges the status quo, and achieves significant business impact

•       Oversee efforts to enhance development of Learning Solutions Excellence Organization

•       Preserve the integrity of the learning programs from inception to final materials and use data for post-delivery enhancements 

•        Develop learning materials in accordance with design documents, including but not limited to, leader’s guides, participant materials, job aids, coaching guides, elearning modules

•        Ensures that processes, practices, and content are in alignment with the strategic and tactical business drivers, and organizational capability needs across JJIM 

•        Identify connections and synergies across JJIM development capability areas and support the creation of processes and operational excellence within the team

•        Support the material review process

•        Establish a trusted advisor relationship with stakeholders by: 

•        Closely collaborate with stakeholders to understand key business priorities to develop impactful learning solutions that drive competitiveness and business growth 

•        Engage and communicate with all key stakeholders on the status of current and future learning initiatives 

•        Cultivate mutually productive relationships with key internal business partners 

•        Internal COE partners to leverage local standards and expertise 

•        Stay current on J&J Learn (enterprise learning team) strategic direction, as it relates to JJIM  


Qualifications

Required Minimum Education:    Bachelor’s Degree; Masters in Learning/Instructional Technology Preferred 

 

Required:   

·        3-6 years of industry experience required.   

·        Strong understanding of learning and development is required 

·        Authoring Tools and Learning Technologies experience required 

·        Well versed in Microsoft Office Products (Teams, SharePoint, Planner, MS Word, PPT, Excel, etc ) is required  

 

 Preferred: 

·       Prior people management experience

·       PMP Certification

·       Video/Sound editing and production

·       Desktop publishing certifications

·       Versed in strategies for creating and managing reusable content objects within a content management system. (Xyleme)

·       Versed in strategies for content curation and channel strategy within a learning experience platform (EdCast)

·        Providing input into estimates to create and deliver training materials and proactively flag risks and/or key dependencies to relevant stakeholders. 

 

The base pay range for this position is $99,000 to $170,200. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
