Under the direction of the Director of Integrated Transitional Care (ITC), the Manager position will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the clinical and non-clinical ITC staff to assure that compliance and adherence to regulatory entities are completed in a timely, fair, consistent manner using nationally recognized criteria in conjunction with UM Subcommittee Criteria and other medical criteria as outlined per policy. In this capacity, position will interface with internal and external customers, hospitals, and IPAs to ensure coordinated and continuous cost-effective quality healthcare for IEHP Members. This position is also accountable for the development and implementation of programs that address high cost, high risk populations to provide navigation programs for IEHP members who require special monitoring, handling, coordination and authorization of services and resources to address their chronic disease needs as they progress through various stages of their disease process.

Education & Requirements
- Five (5) or more years of experience in leadership in health care including two (2) years of experience in Managed Care.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution required.
- Candidate with an active, unrestricted, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) issued by the California BRN without a Bachelor’s degree will require four (4) years of additional relevant work experience.
- Candidate with an active, unrestricted, and unencumbered Vocational Nurse (LVN) license issued by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians without a Bachelor’s degree will require six (6) years of additional relevant work experience.
- In lieu of the required degree and if no clinical licensure is held, a minimum of eight (8) years of additional relevant work experience is required for this position.
Key Qualifications
- Working knowledge of managed care including HEDIS and CAHPs, CMS, DMHC and NCQA regulations health plan regulations.
- Well informed of the resources available in the Inland Empire to support Members (community resources, BH programs, waiver, and grant programs).
