Summary:
The role of Information Security Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization's overall Information Security Architecture. This role is vital role in protecting and advancing our global Information Security program reporting to the Director - Architecture and Engineering, Global Information Security. This role will demonstrate strong leadership skills, have Information Security and technology expertise and a strong ability to assimilate new information quickly, and highly effective communications skills driving to win-win outcomes our partners. This position will also own GIS tactical and strategic Roadmaps and GIS Architecture framework.
This role is an onsite role in Racine, WI
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the program's Information Security Architecture framework, standards, and roadmap in S.C. Johnson's Information Security strategy.
  • Lead development, documentation, and socialization of security patterns to drive simplification, standardization, and implementation process consistency
  • Promote governing principles that ensure security control function isolation from execution layer
  • Oversee implementation of Information Security Architecture patterns, components and services , its alignment with business goals, risk tolerances, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Act as a technical advisor and subject matter expert to the program's stakeholders and partners
  • Develop security requirements across security domains with the goal of balanced protection of information systems assets, corporate data, business process continuity and intellectual property based on enterprise security standards and enterprise risk appetite
  • Document formal project artifacts - business requirements, high-level architecture/design documentation, low-level architecture/design documentation
  • Provide general security support and consulting throughout the engagement
  • Manage security control capability maturity model
  • -Focus on end user productivity, automation opportunities and quality of supporting documentation

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
  • 5+ years of experience in security analysis/security consulting capacity
  • 3+ years of experience developing Information Security standards/policies and patterns
  • Security certifications - CISSP (or one to be gained within 1 year of employment), addition of CCSP is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to present in threat briefings, security demos, and security brownbag sessions on different security topics
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, may consider the relevant military experience in lieu of degree requirements
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
  • IT security programs development with focus on governance controls
    • Well versed in industry standard frameworks such as NIST, CIS, CSA CCM, Mitre ATT&CK, ISO 27001, OWASP, and other
    • Enterprise architecture experience or TOGAF certification
    • Previous IT or IT security engineering
    • Experience working in agile or hybrid agile environment
