Form of workThe Card & ATMManager I is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Card & ATM Services department functions. They supervise all necessary controls and processes are adhered to, ensuring regulations, organizational policy, and service level agreements are met. The Card & ATM Manager leads a team of payment operation professionals to provide exceptional internal/external customer service, while maintaining employee engagement, development, and retention.
What you will do here:
Lead a team of professional Card & ATM Services staff. Provide guidance, support, and continuous development for optimal performance. Establish clear and reasonable performance expectations, driving for accountability and improvement. Create an environment of engagement and collaboration. Establish KPIs and analyze performance data to make informed decisions on staff needs.
Supervise all daily operations. Ensure that production is accurate and adheres to all applicable regulations, as well as internal policies. Maintain timely response to disputes, escalations, and internal inquiries. Manage any member escalations requiring advanced care and attention. Troubleshoot and aim to resolve issues experienced by staff or key stakeholders within the organization.
Oversee and maintain balancing and settlement efforts. Partner with internal departments to provide data for reconciliation of general ledgers to ensure accounting compliance.
Regularly complete department audits to ensure adherence with organizational expectations and goals.
Participate in projects to streamline vendor relationships. Provide insight on service and operation functions, making recommendations for improvements and gain efficiencies.
Identify training needs within the team to address any knowledge gaps on processes, procedures, regulations, or department needs.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.
What you will need:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Organizational Leadership or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
4+ years of Debit, ATM, regulation E, visa operating rules and/or payment network operating rules experience required.
2+ years of progressive responsibility or leading a team of payment operations required.
3+ years Financial Institution experience required.
Excellent communication skills are required. Must be able to influence change with direct reports and across internal and cross-functional teams. Incumbent must have the ability to build upon ideas and strategies in a proactive manner so that fundamental initiatives can be realized required.
Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and quickly adapt to a changing environment and crisis management required.
Aptitude for process efficiency, strong operational oversight and compliance with regulatory requirements required.
Demonstrated ability to make effective decisions in a timely manner, that produce results aligned with organizational strategy required.
Proficient with MS Office Suite Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
