Job description

Reporting into the Director, Global Learning & Development, this Manager will have a direct impact on achievement of organizational goals by creating innovative, engaging, and impactful offerings to support a high-performing culture for all retail and non-retail employees. To accomplish this, the Manager will need to be a leader in business acumen and climate, to ensure programs grow our talent’s skills in alignment with organizational gaps. From ideation to conceptualization and facilitation, this role will own all aspects of program management, to grow our Tiffany Talents at all levels, globally.

Location: This position is in-person at our Corporate Headquarters in New York.

Responsibilities:

Partnerships & Influence

As a member of the broader Global Talent Center of Excellence function, this individual will have opportunities to influence and contribute to other key enterprise initiatives.

As a leader in learning, solidify self as a center of expertise across business units for the department

Enact a consultative relationship with HR business partners to provide advice on needs

Actively seek and engage in talent development needs, to ensure continuous evolution of offerings and programs

Build strong relationships with business leaders across retail and non-retail divisions, globally

Identify subject matter authorities across functions, to build network of partners to the Learning function

Expand network across the group, inclusive of Learning peers to share standard methodologies

Design, Deployment & Continuous Improvement

Aligned with business priorities, conduct needs assessments and analyze skill and knowledge gaps to serve as an authority on Tiffany & Co. learning development needs—to build a pipeline of leaders for today and in the future.

With a focus on our competency model, lead the design, development, and delivery of learning programs and offerings, from needs assessment to implementation, with a focus on highly experiential and facilitative learning opportunities, tools to support application on the job, and relevant assessments.

Apply sound instructional design strategies to build a range of learning solutions that may include single sessions to more complex multi-part programs, delivered and implemented through a variety of modalities, including in-person, virtual, digital, asynchronous and self-paced.

Serve as primary writer and editor to produce quality courseware/programs that are adapted to the audience including: facilitator scripts/notes, leader guides, participant materials, multi-media scripting, supplementary resource tools, videos, eLearning, and all participant and collaborator communications.

Assess "off-the-shelf" learning content for delivery and customization to support the comprehensive learning and development strategy.

Serve as a champion for the organization’s diversity, equity and inclusion concepts, commitments and focus areas and integrate them into all learning and development programs and offerings.

Ensure all program content, materials, resources, and experiences are aligned with Tiffany strategic priorities, key results, diversity, equity & inclusion, and characteristics of an impactful/winning culture.

Establish and implement strategy around specific Learning & Development programs & offerings, including communications, marketing, change, measurement, assessments, leading key deliverables, event planning, sharing results and impact for the organization.

Translate and align Tiffany & Co. corporate strategies into appropriate learning and development initiatives.

Manage the continual update, revision, and customization of existing materials to reflect changes in the business identified through needs assessment and/or general interaction with business leaders and key stakeholders.

In partnership with the Director, Global Leadership Development, determine a measurement strategy that influences the design, development, and execution of leadership programs that aligns program outcomes with behavior change and business impact.

Facilitate learning and development programs in a highly engaging manner that is conducive to adult learning.

The hiring range for this position ranges from $117,810 - $140,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience. Management is also eligible for bonus.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in OD/IO Psychology or equivalent work expereince
  • 5+ year's of experience in learning and development
  • Experience with facilitation and/or addressing audiences ranging from 10 to 100
  • Experience with speaking publicly to populations of Managers, Directors & VPs
  • Experience with designing programs and offerings using modern adult learning theories
  • Proven ability to work within a Global organization as a key leader, across multiple time zones and language barriers
  • Strong social skills to lead and influence peers, as well as build strong relationships
  • Appreciation and knowledge of Luxury Retail Landscape
  • Takes initiative, operates with agility, executes with attention to detail
  • Take pride and accountability in work delivered
  • Strong project management skills, with ability to multi-task and manage time accordingly
  • Proficient in English; second language a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Talent Roles or HR Generalist
  • Assessment certifications – Gallup, 360, MBTI, Hogan, DiSC, Other
