This manager role will support the VP Consumer Engagement, Communication & VIVA GLAM and are responsible for overseeing’s the digital marketing, social media, consumer engagement and content strategies for Collaborations, Collections and Celebrity Talent. This manager is the key POC on day-to-day responsibilities and activating all strategies both internally and externally and will work closely with the Assistant Manager of Collaborations & Talent.
This job is crucial as it is the liaison between the Brand and our external partners; facilitating what is in our Brands best interest with an external personalities/IP’s. This role includes facilitation of charitable brand initiatives, special product collaborations and collections, brand partnerships, talent appearances and events, award season activations, recommendation of personalities and brands that are aligned with our values and requires thoughtful and creative ideation around activation strategies.
In addition to the above, this role is responsible for ideation of talent against key NPLs and brand priorities and must present ideas and plans with excellence to senior management. From seeding product, obtaining addresses, securing content, to presenting to Senior Leadership, this role is crucial for the team to succeed.
Decision Making 35%:
- Conduct research and provide talent/brand/IP/designer recommendations that latter to our brand pillar objectives.
- Streamline day-to-day approvals on all assets and activation plans for all celebrity/IP partnerships.
- Maintain external collaborations timetable, communications plans in partnership with Director along with our cross-functional partners.
- Lead all brand and corporate vetting reports in relation to brand ambassadors.
- Illustrate our strategy to external partners when pitching the brand.
- Drive efficiencies with all Collections, Collaborations, Underground toolkits as the owner and ensure that there are disruptive and thought-provoking plans for the regions to adapt to.
Problem Solving 30%:
- Coordinate senior level alignment on celebrities, deal terms and contractual obligations and own the prep materials for those meetings.
- Orchestrate celebrity offers, negotiate, and convey terms to our legal partners.
- Secure celebrities to attend brand events.
- Ensure all vendors and shipping houses are organized and schedules are deployed against our timelines to ensure the strongest Earned Media activation plan.
Independence of Action and Accountability 20%:
- Manage all sampling, gifting, seeding for Global Celebrities
- Execute all postmortems for collaborations and work with regions to collect all information.
Budget Responsibility 10%:
- Provide clear communication to regional leads and act as the day-to-day POC for Western Market regions.
- Support internal timetables and problem solve when roadblocks arise.
- Optimize our budgets to ensure we are fiscally responsible and driving efficiencies where possible.
Leadership 5%:
- Differentiate between business critical and nice to have opportunities.
- Create and manage databases for all contacts.
Qualifications
- 5-6 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Excited and driven by pop culture, brand equity, and trend-driven activations.
- Eager to bring our Brand to the next level.
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of regional and cultural nuances
- Superb organizational and multitasking capabilities required.
- Entrepreneurial and guerilla marketer who is passional about the Beauty space.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $82,500 to $135,500. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
