Shared Services: Hospital Operations Finance (Full-Time, Day Shift) -

The Manager-FP&A in collaboration with hospital finance and operations leadership, is responsible for direct oversight of Financial Planning analysts. Identifies opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost savings and optimization for the LLUH entities, with primary focus on budget, productivity, benchmarking, and service line support, as needed. Provides reliable information and effective training to assist LLUH entities leadership in making sound financial, operational, or policy decisions. Performs other duties as needed.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or related field required. Master's Degree preferred. Minimum five years progressive experience in health care finance or operations required. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) or related certification preferred.
Acumen and aptitude for complex business principles, especially as it relates to healthcare operations, finance and economics. Ability to extract data from multiple financial systems and manipulate with ease and accuracy. Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills required. Adaptability to a variety and routine office work. Ability to interface with varying levels of organizational stakeholders, present to groups, and teach finance principles and concepts. Excellent client relationship management skills, including the ability to cultivate positive, favorable working relationships with the various organizational stakeholders. Relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; provide leadership; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction. Ability to deal effectively with people and elicit support from other department areas, vendors, and customers. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
