Job Description:

Overall Purpose: Responsible for all maintenance and repair of company owned vehicles and wheeled work equipment and interacts with internal and external mechanics including contractors.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Manages outsourced vending, parts inventories, coordinating work with clients and leadership.  

Includes decision making authority on local vendor selection, the method of repairs to be completed and auditing work completion and optimizing costs. Supervisory job with responsibility for planning and apportioning the work across employees, contracted badged headcount, and external vendors.

Responsible to directly interview, select and train employees, and responsible to recommend rates of pay and hours of work, coaching and assessing performance, hiring and firing for contracted workforce.

Ensures compliance with company and regulatory policy.

Responsible for the oversight of 2K-3K fleet assets with employees or 3-10k with contracted.

Education: Preferred Bachelors Degree or equivalent.

Experience: Typically 2 to 5 years relevant experience.

Supervisory: Yes.

Environmental Requirements: This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&Ts compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions. Field Ops job ladder includes: Manager, Assoc Dir, & Director.

Our Manager - Fleet Field earns between $70,100 - $116,800USD. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
