About the role
Within the Finance organization, the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) organization ensures the smooth and efficient functioning of the Company's day-to-day accounting and finance operations. This includes global accounting, financial reporting, audits, tax planning and compliance, payroll, accounts payable, risk management, and other areas.
This role will support both the CAO and his direct reports in critical and time sensitive areas including execution of financial reports, statements, authorizations, rep letters, contracts, etc. The role will also be responsible for traditional T&E support, global travel and meeting facilitation and planning and special projects, as necessary.
The entire team consists of 125+ personnel in the US, Europe, and India. Travel will be expected from time to time.
This role will have two direct reports, also working from the Folsom, CA office. Their responsibilities include administrative support for the corporate HQ, including mail and phone support.
What You Will Do
- Manage the local operations of the Corporate Headquarters
- Perform general administrative support functions for Finance leadership.
- Arranging electronic signatures for financial documents (financial statements, tax returns, rep letters, contracts, etc) for all finance and statutory reporting needs
- Printing and organizing ink signatures for financial documents, for required regions
- Assisting with various administrative tasks including coordinating meetings, travel, etc
- Process and Troubleshoot T&E expense reporting, as needed for CAO leadership
- Assist with audit requests, confirmation preparation, invoices, cash support, etc
- Assisting with special projects
- Coordinate with other Exec Administrators across Magnit
- Work with our Travel Vendors to address issues or questions.
- Maintain monthly budget for CAO group leadership
- Assist and/or facilitate monthly KRI and metrics reporting
- Maintain monthly close calendar and coordinate monthly / quarterly / annual accounting close meetings
Required Qualifications
- At least ten (10) years of progressive and relevant experience as an administrative support professional
- Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated experience in supporting multiple executives in a dynamic environment
- Experience in using Microsoft products, such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams
- Ability to articulate issues and collaborate cross functionally
Salary Range is between $90,000 - $120,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
