We currently have an opening for the Full time, Manager - Facility Plant Operations, to join our team of caring professionals.
Purpose of position:
- Manage the activities involved in the maintenance of facilities and equipment.
- Responsible for building operations including structural maintenance.
- Responsible for regulatory and building code compliance.
- Direct, supervise and evaluate work activities of department staff.
- Provide staff management to including hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.
- Ensure safe operations and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Serve as project manager for small scale, short duration projects.
- Develop and manage budget and inventory systems.
- Manage the activities involved in the design and renovation projects for a facility.
- Analyze metrics and make recommendations for improvements and solutions to issues that are identified.
- Initiate and authorize repairs or replacements and prepare related cost estimates.
- Be on-call for building emergencies.
- Responsible for facility operational effectiveness and safety.

Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in facilities management or operations required. Five (5) or more years in similar position required. One (1) or more years of supervisory experience preferred.

Licensures/Certification: Valid state driver's license, Current CPR certification and Handle With Care (HWC) certification (will provide training for HWC). Valid Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) preferred.
