The Manager, Employee Relations Center of Excellence position is responsible for overseeing our Speak Up and Investigations workstreams. In addition to overseeing the workstream and it’s process, this position is also one that involves a high level of leadership given the number of team members that need to be coached and developed to be strong Employee Relations practitioners.
Responsibilities:
  • Managing a team of Speak Up specialists who analyze and investigate allegations including violations of PepsiCo’s Code of Conduct Policies, Harassment, Discrimination, retaliation, and others as outlined in the handbook and local addendums. Management of the team includes ensuring that investigations are completed promptly, with a level of quality and thoroughness, and ensuring data integrity (team entering correct information into SNOW)
  • Compiling, analyzing, and presenting service data for key stakeholders (HRBPs, Legal, HRLT).
  • Developing training dedicated to building the skills and capabilities of the team in the scope of.
  • Developing team capabilities through training sessions while also maintaining team engagement with team-building exercises.
  • Planning, coordinating and executing comprehensive training for new team members with the intent of providing them with the comfort and confidence to effectively manage Employee Relations cases.
  • Proactively identifying and implementing continuous improvement suggestions for the betterment of COE services and team dynamics.
  • Quickly and efficiently respond to action items assigned via Service Now (SNOW) or email.
  • Represent PBNA in technology changes and enhancements such as with ServiceNow system updates for current and future services.
  • Actively manage key stakeholder relationships through feedback, training, and relationship-building sessions. (C&E, Labor Team, Legal, HRBP)
  • Manage multiple projects and tasks that may surface such as the continued support of Covid-19, digitalization journey of appeals, etc.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Employee relations field, or any other applicable degree.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3+ years of experience working in HR or Employee Relations field is required for this role.
  • At least three (3) years of prior investigative experience and knowldge of employment investigations is key to this role.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Minimum one-year investigative experience working in a manufacturing or field environment.
  • The ability to lead a team (management experience). Specifically, to keep them engaged and build trust.
  • The ability to present to all levels of the organization (frontline employees, HRBPs and Sr. Leadership)
  • The ability to remain completely objective and maintain confidentiality.
  • Must perform job functions with limited assistance and exercise good time management.
  • Must also be able to effectively handle multiple cases in various stages of the Investigation process.
  • Must be able to use Service Now software to perform daily job duties including typing clear and concise notes, uploading of documents, data tracking and more.
  • Must be able to analyze raw data and present out to different audiences.

Three key competencies that are required for success in this role include:

  • Ability to construct an objective narrative of investigations
  • The ability to use sound and independent judgment and reasoning skills to assess information provided during the course of an investigation (by the employee or the speak up specialist)
  • Dealing with ambiguity
Compensation and Benefits:
  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $98,700 - $165,150 based on a full-time schedule.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
