Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- On-Site Oversight of 2+ locations with multiple buildings with 6+ Facility Technicians.
- Maintain strong partnerships with internal business partner teams and Leadership.
- Manage vendors such as custodial and mailroom to ensure compliance.
- Oversight of repair/maintenance vendor relationships to ensure timely action and efficient pricing.
- Process daily maintenance/repair needs through online work order management system.
- Lead walks with HFT Leadership, Landlord representatives, and vendors, as needed.
- Analyze monthly utilities and R&M costs to ensure proper system operations while meeting budget.
- Ensure that departmental resources, including staff, budget, spaces, equipment, and supplies are available and capable of achieving the department's purpose, responsibilities, and goals.
- Support Capital Expenditure Projects from small to large scale in all Corporate Facilities
- Partner with leadership to develop plans and strategies for best utilization of the facilities, including potential designs and remodel implications for long-term optimization for business needs.
- Oversee operations of the primary utility equipment to include air conditioning, electrical distribution system, fire protection system, compressed air system, and water distribution system. Ensure that necessary repairs and improvements are made to buildings, grounds, and any associated equipment.
- In conjunction with landlord when applicable, provide hands-on functional direction for all equipment including preventative maintenance. Coordinate equipment repairs and respond to maintenance needs so goals and objectives are met in a timely and professional manner. Evaluate downtime data, operating procedures, equipment capabilities and capacities, and make repairs or authorized modifications or changes that achieve an efficiency improvement or operating cost reduction.
- Ensure optimum supplies of repair parts and other essentials are available for maintenance. Utilize a computerized maintenance management system to manage predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance priorities.
- On-Call required for off-hours emergency needs and periodic repair/maintenance/capital project needs

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 10+ years’ experience as a maintenance or construction supervisor/manager experience with emphasis on massive conveyor systems and industrial lift trucks
- Ability to read written communications and understand verbal communications over the phone
- Must be adaptable to change and accept new responsibilities, projects, assignments, willingly
- Must accept accountability for own performance and behavior
- Strong interpersonal skills along with analytical and problem solving skills are required; exercise good judgement
Physical Requirements:
- Maintain industrial machines, moving furniture and equipment, and extensive use of hand and power tools
- Requires incumbent to stand, walk, bend, squat climb, kneel, twist and work at heights on an intermittent basis for eight hours a day
- Hand manipulation including simple grasping, power grasping, pushing and pulling of materials and fine manipulation
- Reach and work above and below the shoulder level is frequently performed on a continuous basis for as many as five hours a day
- Lift and carry items weighing 25lbs or less on a frequent basis throughout the day
- Lift and carry items weighing 25 - 75lbs pounds on an intermittent basis throughout the work week
- Drive automobiles, forklifts and scissor lifts
- Work with hazardous machinery and power tools on a regular basis
- Perform tasks while using a ladder up to fifteen feet in elevation above floor surface
