Job Description Summary:
The Manager, Corporate Brand Communications, will support the execution of our North America internal and external Corporate brand strategy with a specific focus on, and ownership of, our suite of digital channels and activities, helping to build visibility and awareness of the Ipsen brand among key stakeholders and audiences. This role will work closely with the extended North America Corporate Affairs team and agency partner to maintain an editorial calendar aligned across channels. This individual will also be responsible for reporting key metrics to ensure a balance of channels, providing key insights and industry best practices on how to best amplify our presence via the digital landscape. The position reports to the Associate Director of Internal and External Brand Engagement – and will be a key member of a very collaborative team.

The candidate will have an interest in building skills and becoming a subject matter expert in digital communications – including sharing best practices, new opportunities – to raise visibility of Ipsen’s brand. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Lead management of US social channels and content through close partnership with extended North America Corporate Affairs team and agency of record.
Responsible for the centralized editorial calendar to support ongoing corporate news flow and storytelling across digital channels and their audiences.
Develop original content for social channels aligned with key activities; manage internal review processes of external-facing corporate content.
Act as internal point of excellence for digital trends and opportunities by applying industry best practices through analyzing key metrics.
Manage updates and enhancements to North America corporate websites.
Oversee rotating digital content on screens across North America office locations.
Promote company intranet usage among North America audiences and serve as lead for the channel and its content.
Contribute and provide input into the broader strategic communications/team plans developed by the North America Corporate Affairs function.
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required; journalism or communications-related discipline preferred
3-5 years of experience within corporate communications function with focus and experience in supporting digital platforms; biotech/pharmaceutical background is strongly preferred
Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
Experience in working with an agency is ideal
Experience with Word Press, a plus
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities at once
