Overview:
Under the direction of the Director - Clinical Chargemaster, the Manager - Chargemaster Technical Solutions will be responsible for oversight of the technical Charge Description Master (CDM) changes and new epic implementations across the entire ministry. This includes Managing a team of CDM specialists and the Vitalware vendor. This position will provide thought leadership in collaboration with the director for new services to support a positive patient experience balanced with the epic tools available to support efficient workflows. This position will provide leadership, mentoring and monitoring to ensure effectiveness of the internal team and external vendors. The Manager - CDM Technical Solutions will also be responsible for ensuring effective standards and processes are in place to meet organizational goals, drives continuous improvements in the development and deployment of standard Policies and Procedures, monitoring tools, strategies to improve quality of the CDM.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 years of direct healthcare experience with demonstrated expertise in Chargemaster maintenance and EPIC implementationOther Skills and Knowledge.
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: Certified Coding Specialist Certification (CCS), or CHC (Certified Healthcare Compliance) preferred.
- Other: Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to quickly make decisive decisions from limited written and/or oral information; excellent reading comprehension.
