The Business Central Consultant Manager will be part of the team supporting projects in the areas of ERP Integration, Software Selection/Implementation, and Business Process Improvement in addition to Business Transformation and Operational Excellence efforts.
- Provides exceptional client service and develops advanced level deliverables and/or solutions to client issues
- Acts as primary contact for clients regarding all questions and information, including progress, challenges encountered, and issues identified
- Identifies new business opportunities to expand the Solutions Development practice and communicates such opportunities to his/her engagement superiors
- Manages the engagement and underlying economics to ensure engagement metrics are achieved
- Identifies, grows and maintains strategic relationships with client personnel, including members of client management
- Prepares formal and informal presentations for client meetings and drafts proposals and reports
- Participates in marketing and business development activities within practice
- Produces deliverables, distributes project documents and documents information from internal project meetings
- Establishes engagement budget, provides recommendations for project scope and underlying pricing changes, as needed
- Prepares and distributes change management and project communications
- Fosters a positive demeanor, learning attitude and client service mentality with staff and seniors
- Travels as needed
- Other duties as required
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervises the day-to-day workload of SD Senior Associates and Associates on assigned engagements and reviews work product
- Ensures SD Senior Associates and Associates are trained on all relevant software
- Evaluates the performance of SD Senior Associates and Associates and assists in the development of goals and objectives to enhance professional development
- Delivers periodic performance feedback and completes performance evaluations for SD Senior Associates and Associates in accordance with Firm guidance
- Acts as mentor to SD Senior Associates and Associates, as appropriate
Education:
- Associate degree from an accredited university, required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university experience, preferred
Experience:
- Ten (10) or more years of professional experience as a Business Systems Consultant, required
- Five (5) or more years ERP consulting experience, required
- Five (5) or more years strong business process analysis & design and process flow skills, required
- Five (5) or more years strong analytical, facilitation, documentation, and communication skills, required
- Some Manufacturing and Distribution industry experience, preferred
- Client facing consulting experience, preferred
- Strong project planning, scoping and management skills, preferred
License/Certifications:
- Industry related ERP certifications, preferred
- PMP certification, preferred
- CPA, preferred
Software:
- Two (2) or more years of experience in one (1) or more of the following, required:
- Dynamic 365, Business Central, Dynamics NAV, Navision
- Knowledge of PMP, preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics ERP (365 Business Central or NAV), preferred
