Position Title: Brand & Marketing Manager
Reports to: Hotel General Manager

The job duties listed below are an overview of the essential duties and measures required to be successful in the position. Please note that the listed examples do not include all tasks, which may be expected within this job position.
- Develop and execute exciting marketing campaigns to promote each season
- Design and schedule emails in a timely manner
- Capture video and photo content while onsite - event coverage, onsite experiences and weekly programming, behind the scenes of the property and key personalities (i.e., Executive Chef)
- Create and schedule social media posts for all platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Define goals and success metrics collaboratively with Hotel General Manager and Department heads, and FEG Marketing Team
- Communicate and coordinate with content creators, social media collaborators, and influencers
- Maintain social media inboxes
- Maintain website: collections, photography, products, & other assets
- Create relevant product collections in accordance to marketing campaigns
- Assist with restaurant menu descriptions and design
- Ensure all digital assets meet requirements (i.e. cropping for websites, basic editing for accuracy, etc.)
- Collaborate on marketing ads that drive brand awareness, engagement, etc.
- Maintain brand consistency through all marketing projects
- Assist Hotel General Manager with property photo shoots, including building a shortlist, run of the show, and coordinating with the creative and property teams.
- Communicate all shoot needs with property departments
- Assist in the planning and execution of events, including product launches, promotions, and community engagement initiatives
- Work and coordinate with the property team to execute events
- Maintain Farmhouse Inn presence on third-party sites - google, TripAdvisor, yelp, OpenTable, Expedia, etc.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications or other related field.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in luxury or hospitality space with experience in marketing and communications.
- Strong knowledge of the Sonoma County and Bay Area market and cater to a luxury-minded audience.
- Must be both “Team” focused and a self-motivated, adaptable, innovative, and independent worker. A discerning eye for design and style, exceptional attention to detail, consistent follow-through, and self-disciplined time management.
- Creative and proactive thinker and problem-solver with high-level organizational, research, and product-sourcing skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Google Analytics, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, OpenTable, Revinate, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Canvas
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite - Indesign, Photoshop
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Must clearly communicate directions and information. Must have good interpersonal skills.
- Scheduling flexibility to meet operational needs.
- Able to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to travel between offsite offices and hotel property for marketing purposes
