What You Will Do
As the Finance Manager you will have the opportunity to become an integral part of Stryker’s transformational ASC (Ambulatory Surgery Center) as a member of the ASC Finance team. This role manages a team that works directly with the ASC commercial teams by supporting the creation and evaluation of multi-divisional sales opportunities to help Stryker Win, Protect and Grow in the ASC business. You will gain cross-functional experience by working directly with ASC regional sales managers, Flex financial, Customer Solutions Contracts & Pricing, and divisional finance teams within MedSurg, Neurotechnology, Orthopaedics and Spine.
Functional responsibilities will include supporting the deal-making modeling process ensuring pricing and profitability across Stryker Divisions/Business Units. This role will have shared oversight of ASC Salesforce.com and Power BI applications and be responsible for driving process improvement and efficiencies through coordination of related parties in this matrix organization (e.g., Customer Solutions Contracts & Pricing, Customer Intelligence, Flex Financial, ASC Finance teams, etc.).
You will have the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the MedSurg, Neurotechnology, Orthopaedics and Spine product portfolios as well as insight into strategic pricing initiatives and its impact on Stryker’s bottom line. There will be significant exposure to the full breadth and depth of Stryker’s business.
Manage the deal-making finance teams who perform financial modeling and evaluation processes for multi-divisional sales opportunities including assessment of deal structure and profitability
Facilitate coordination across functional ASC and divisional teams regarding pricing, product cost/margin data, financing, and customer deal structure
Manage oversight and maintenance of the various tools utilized in deal-making execution - SYK ASC Salesforce.com, output tool, custom product master hierarchy, incremental reporting.
Drive continuous improvement in efficiency and automation in financial reporting and KPIs both in ASC actual’s performance and projection, which includes managing the relationship with the ASC Finance reporting team, Customer Intelligence, IT, and divisional data owner partners
Proactively drive strategic projects and analysis of key business issues that provide insight to senior leadership to facilitate action
Manage, develop, and mentor ASC Finance team members
Contribute to our culture of being collaborative, respectful, transparent, ethical, and efficient.
What You Need
Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
8 years of total experience required
5+ years of experience providing financial support/consultation to a large, complex organization preferred
2+ years of experience in a people management role preferred
Demonstrated ability to handle both strategic and tactical financial issues
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power Bi
Although the candidate will have the flexibility to work 100% remote from home, the desired candidate will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance from a major US Stryker location (Kalamazoo, MI / Mahwah, NJ / Flower Mound, TX).
$98,000- $210,100salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
