The purpose of the Management Trainee position is to gain knowledge of all aspects of the Division's business processes in order to assist in directing the warehouse management teams to provide excellent service levels and ensure warehouse operational efficiency to achieve Branch and Company goals. • Receives training in functions and operations of related departments to facilitate subsequent transferability between departments and to provide greater promotional opportunities. • Learns line and staff functions, operations, management viewpoints and company policies and practices that affect each phase of business. • Sets performance goals and objectives with upper management. • Monitors performance progress with management and key trainers. • Complete appropriate management tasks to maintain a productive and safe warehouse environment. • Evaluate produce and other date sensitive product; complete paperwork timely and efficiently to ensure that quality is maintained and report findings to appropriate personnel/supervisor to maintain consistent communication among departments. • Follow BEK Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) Guidelines and assist with put-aways of returned product. • Coordinate and administer efforts to minimize product damage and waste. • Operate all material handling equipment in an appropriate and safe manner. • Consistently demonstrate and model good management and self-management. • Represent Ben E. Keith with professionalism, maintain a positive attitude and follow dress code. • Observes experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties. • Collaborate with warehouse personnel and related managers to resolve work related issues practices in support of BEK culture. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• Warehouse Management experience preferred • Knowledge of and ability to competently use MS Office, internet and email; willingness to learn new software as needed. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; analytical and detail oriented/ • Experience with 360 Analysis preferred • Valid Texas driver's license is required for driving to perform company business. • Bachelor's degree preferred
