Management and Program Assistant

Serves as a Management Program Assistant in the Scottsdale Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) located in Scottsdale, AZ.

Candidates must have One Year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level (FV-E, FG/GS-7/8) that is typically in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform in this position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.

Specialized experience is: experience in planning and managing the office’s daily administrative functions; maintaining automated systems to record, reconcile, validate and track data; identifying and resolving discrepancies; performing various analytical studies; interpreting and providing guidance; performing multiple and varying assignments in the areas of budget, personnel, training; travel administration and other office programs.
