Mammography Technologist Trainee

We're looking for experienced and professional licensed Radiology Technologists with a strong desire to cross-train into mammography and have the potential to independently perform all outpatient mammography exams and procedures with high quality results.

• Training Opportunities are available at the following locations: Belleville, Cranford, Hoboken, and Union.

If you're the right person for this opportunity, you will have the following qualifications:

• A current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
• The keen interest and ability to learn new skills in advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and procedures.
• Are resilient, adaptable and compassionate. Patients can be nervous about their exams; we look to you to provide a calm and friendly demeanor, and provide a professional and positive healthcare delivery experience.
• Be quick thinking and have the ability to take appropriate action on-the-fly should an emergent situation arise.

Once hired, you will be required to:

• Complete a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8-hours of training in digital mammography included (We will reimburse you).
• Complete 8-hours of training in Tomosynthesis (We will reimburse you).
• Pass the New Jersey State Mammography Licensing Exam (We will reimburse you).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.00 - $37.00 per hour
