SalaryMontefiore Mount Vernon, a community based hospital which is part of the Montefiore Health System, is seeking a Per-DiemMammography Technologist to join our team.
Job Duties Include:
- Produce digital diagnostic and screening breast imaging of patients and submit them to radiologist for interpretation.
- Assists the radiologist with the performance of breast biopsy procedures
- Evaluates radiographs for diagnostic quality and obtains additional images as needed.
- Follows the departmental exam process which incorporates National Patient Safety Goals.
Education and Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent/college preferred.
- Graduate of a two year school for radiological technologists.
- Registration: A.R.R.T. certification required
- Certification in Mammography
- Licensed by the state of New York
- Prior work experience as a mammography technician.
