Mammography Technologist

Are you a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience looking to get your foot in the door of a large healthcare organization. Mammography Technologist play such an important role in health care. You care for patients when they at most vulnerable and we are looking to hire you.
In this important position your day will consist of the following:
Preparing and assisting patients for Mammographic imaging as requested by physician
Educate patient on the procedure to be performed
Provide patient care with dignity and respect for individual
Maintain a daily log of patients seen
You will do great in this role with the following:
*Connecticut State License and ARRT Certification with Mammography modality.
*Maintaining superior diagnostic imaging in accordance with standardized procedures.
*Ability to maintain a great knowledge in human anatomy and cross section anatomy, proper positioning skills and appropriate utilization of protocols and scanning techniques.
*High knowledge with variety of routine procedures and applications.
*Ability to maintain continuing education credits and professional licenses required by the *State Department of Health, Bureau of Environmental Protection and The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
