In line with this success, we are actively seeking an experienced Major Accounts Manager to spearhead the maintenance and expansion of designated Major Accounts across the United States.
This position will have personal accountability for the maintenance and growth of a defined list of Major Accounts that offer a regional/national footprint across multiple service lines. This roll collaborates with the regional business development managers, inside sales, marketing, and operations to ensure world class delivery of all applicable service lines as well as grow our revenue streams within these defined accounts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Project Development:
- Take charge of developing, tracking, and reporting on upcoming project opportunities.
- Assume ownership of project development, securing necessary resources for successful project acquisition.
- Identify and pursue new contract opportunities through collaboration with various departments.
- Oversee the entire project and contract development process, ensuring successful awards.
- Stay informed about industry trends and adapt penetration and pricing strategies accordingly.
- Develop strategies based on industry changes to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate seamlessly with Operations, Regional Business Development, and Service Line Sales Leaders.
- Work closely with internal departments to develop compelling proposals and pricing models.
- Actively network with industry professionals, leveraging opportunities for direct sales and partnerships.
- Deliver impromptu presentations on Alliance Technical Group's comprehensive service offerings.
- Formulate and implement key account plans through cross-departmental collaboration.
- Articulate and sell the enterprise value of the organization to key accounts.
- Sell value and comprehend opportunity costs to maximize company profitability.
- Research and cultivate new opportunities within assigned Major Accounts.
- Maintain effective communication with customers and internal teams.
- Diligently document all customer correspondence and opportunities in the company's CRM system.
- Contribute to the strategic sales planning process and shepherd growth plans.
- Ensure plans stay on track within assigned Major Accounts.
- Continually enhance sales processes, personnel, and service coverage.
- Provide informed input into contract rates based on market intelligence.
- Develop metrics for each key account, demonstrating the company's value.
- Ensure visibility of quality, safety, and execution goals and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in Engineering, Science, or related field.
- Proficiency with CRM (SalesForce Enterprise preferred) and MS Office.
- 3-5 years of experience in Major Account direct sales, preferably in industrial, technical, or environmental/field services sales.
- Superior customer service attitude and demonstrated self-starter with initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and written skills.
- Quick adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new service lines.
- Must meet the physical demands of a typical office environment.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screen, and possession of a valid driver’s license.
Compensation:
- Competitive base salary starting at $115,000, plus performance-based bonuses.
